Fundraising Director — GCPTALKS Leadership Role At GCPTALKS, our mission grows through generosity, partnership, and the belief that communities can uplift one another. The Fundraising Director — also known as the Director of Development — is the leader who helps fuel that mission. This role guides the strategy that brings in financial support, strengthens donor relationships, and ensures our charitable work continues to expand across neighborhoods, cities, and nations. This is a position for someone who understands both the heart and the business of philanthropy. What This Role Represents
The Fundraising Director is the architect of our development efforts. They build the systems, relationships, and campaigns that sustain GCPTALKS’ programs — from disaster relief to youth empowerment to community outreach. Their leadership ensures that every dollar raised is aligned with our values and used to uplift the people we serve.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Fundraising Leadership
• Develop and implement multi‑channel fundraising strategies
• Identify new revenue opportunities through campaigns, grants, partnerships, and digital initiatives
• Align fundraising goals with GCPTALKS’ long‑term vision and community impact
Donor & Partner Cultivation
• Build strong, lasting relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners
• Lead stewardship efforts that honor donor generosity and deepen engagement
• Represent GCPTALKS with professionalism, gratitude, and purpose
Team & Department Leadership
• Supervise development staff and volunteers
• Set clear goals, manage performance, and foster a culture of excellence
• Collaborate with program, operations, and communications teams to support organization‑wide success
Financial Oversight & Data Integrity
• Manage revenue projections, budgets, and financial reporting
• Ensure donor data accuracy in CRM systems
• Use analytics to guide decision‑making and strengthen fundraising outcomes
Event & Campaign Management
• Oversee special events, charity walks, community fundraisers, and digital campaigns
• Ensure each event reflects GCPTALKS’ mission and engages supporters meaningfully
What Makes Someone a Strong Fit
• 5–10+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Strategic thinker with a passion for community uplift
• Knowledge of donor research, grant writing, and philanthropic trends
• Financial literacy and comfort with CRM platforms.
